What exact part of your backpack, pocket, purse, or whatever is involved? a.         My current book travels around with me in various ways. Sometimes, my current read may be located on my phone or it may travel with me in my purse on the way to work or in my backpack on a flight. Right now, my current book lives in my car, in the passenger’s seat if nothing else needs to be there. When I leave the car, the book hops into my bag, by my most used items so every time I take a glance, I’m reminded that I still need to read my book. It’s by my phone and my planner, next to my everyday things so it won’t be forgotten, as it so easily can be.   2.         ...
  Blog post – Airport Marathon  “Slice of Life” “The first flight lands. I look down at my watch. Roughly 20 minutes remain until boarding begins for our connecting flight. It seemed as if the clock was running faster and faster. One minute, two minutes, three minutes, I arise from my plane seat and reach over to grab my carry on. In one hand, my carry on and in the other, my daughter’s hand.  Time was scarce. It was as if our surroundings were in slow motion as we rapidly moved through the airport. For a brief moment, I think to myself, “Are we going to miss the flight?” Nevertheless, this thought prompted me to move at an even quicker pace. I felt the cool breeze as I jog to the boarding gate along with my daughter.   Fortunately, after our tenacious efforts to reach the designated gate, we successfully board the flight.
